Andalucía
Andalusia is a bridge between two continents, Africa and Europe and a meeting point between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean sea. Located south of the Iberian Peninsula being the southernmost point of continental Europe. The northern boundary is marked by the Sierra Morena seperating the Castilian plateau north and south of the Guadalquivir depression. The western boundary is determined by the Guadiana river that separates the province of Huelva in Portugal.
The Guadalquivir has created a fertile valley who gives his name and is next to its tributary, the river Genil the cornerstone that shapes physically Andalusia. Since its birth in the East in the Sierra de Cazorla to its mouth in the west, along the marshes of Doñana Park the Guadalquivir is the source of life for the area it crosses.
50% of the Andalusian territory is mountainous, a third are over 600 meters, with a high plateau and 46 peaks exceeding 1,000 meters. For its altitude-Mulhacén and Veleta exceed 3400 meters - Sierra Nevada in the Cordillera Penibética stands the queen of heights.

The Cabo de Gata is the crown jewel of Almería. This Nature offers many possibilities. From Almeria is very easy to get to Alhama.
